Solmaz Saberi is a determined Los Angeles-based photographer and director with over a decade of experience in fashion, beauty and entertainment. Spanning commercial, editorial and motion work, her portfolio is characterized by bright hues, bold poses and glamorous garments, and features a colorful cast of celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Pia Mia, Miguel, Christina Milian, Amber Rose and more.
On a mission to shape the future of fashion, photography and print, she founded Unleash’d Magazine in 2010, a quarterly publication that showcases nonconformist, dream-chasing talent through a strikingly fresh lens.
Saberi, who was born in Iran and moved to the United States at the age of twelve, began her career as a hair stylist and makeup artist, initially learning photography under the direction of her mentor Joseph Tran when assembling her first print portfolio. Falling head over heels for the craft, photography quickly became the center of her life, fueling her but also requiring difficult decisions, sacrifice and perseverance.
