Grant Harder
Grant Harder is a photographer based in Vancouver, BC, and was shortlisted for the 2023 Photo Awards category: SHADOWS.
For more than a decade he has worked with distinguished publications such as The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, TIME, The Walrus and Smithsonian Magazine. His approach to photography is deeply rooted at the intersection of human existence and the natural world. Whether capturing still life, portraits, or environments, he seeks out moments of tranquility and sincerity. He gravitates towards the serene and the genuine, reflecting his unique perspective on the interplay of light, shadow, and form.

Jada Jimpinu

Jada Jimpinu is a Nigerian-born commercial photographer, creative director, and videographer based in Vancouver, BC. She specializes in visual storytelling for brands as well as portrait, fashion editorial, and lifestyle photography.
Her recent project, Japa Syndrome, is a visual story about migration. This project—set against the vibrant backdrop of Lagos, Nigeria—captivates the essence of seeking a dream beyond borders. The story speaks to the Nigerian pursuit of greener pastures, and the visual narrative brushes the gap between reality and aspiration, shedding light on the challenges of creating balance between our past and future life. “Japa syndrome” is more than just a visual journey; it’s a call to inspire and elevate our global communities.

Anne Healy
Anne Healy is an Australian photographer from Sydney who moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2022. Healy draws influence from local painters Tom Robertson and Frederick McCubbin, as well as Noosa artists Stacey Petersen and Susan Schmidt. These painters inspired Healy’s use of light and color. To achieve these painterly effects with photography, Anne experiments with long exposures, intentional camera movement, and macro techniques.
