Have you ever wanted to just push the reset button on your creative career?
That’s exactly what creative director-turned-illustrator Paul Pateman did. One morning in 2012, he was about to leave for work when he made the decision. “My wife came through the door and said, ‘What are you doing?’ and I just sat on the end of the bed, going, ‘I just can’t do it anymore. I can’t do it,'” he says in the introduction to the latest episode of InFrame.
The second installment of Format’s documentary series was released today, this time featuring the British freelance illustrator, better known for his alias, Pâté — a childhood nickname that stuck after someone mispronounced his last name.
