Journeys, 1997

Created for a campus setting, this large bronze sculpture was influenced by Raimondi’s fascination with the visual language of Picasso and Matisse and inspired by the invaluable importance of parents and teachers to the education and maturation of young people. With the adults surrounded by children in a rhythmic, lively dance, Journeys captures a lyrical, sensual celebration of life.
