A digital artist based in Toronto, Alex McLeod is the product of a myriad of intersecting influences; music, street art, video games and early internet chat room culture. Born in Scarborough, McLeod attended OCAD University and studied drawing and painting. As he was being taught traditional techniques, he also was educating himself in evolving computer graphics. Now, nearly twenty years into his career, just like the digital worlds he invents, McLeod’s career knows no bounds.
